The 30 Day Praise Challenge–Day 15

The One Jesus loved. (John 20:2)

I’ll admit that I needed to hear this today.  Do you ever have those days when you are acutely aware of the small voice inside your head telling you that you aren’t enough?  The voice that screams at you that nobody loves you?  The voice that tells you that you are an imposter and nobody wants what you have to give?  I woke up to that voice this morning.

I KNOW that this voice is that of the enemy.  It is NOT the voice of God.  I KNOW this because I can tell the difference between the voice of God and the voice of the enemy.  But knowing that isn’t always enough to keep those messages above at bay.  For me, anyway, it becomes an intentional decision NOT to listen to the lies of the enemy.  So turning to today’s chapter in this praise challenge and reading God’s TRUTH helped me to focus on the truth of God.

The One Jesus loved. (John 20:2)

Part of this battle begins with replacing the lies with truth:

  • You aren’t enough becomes, My sufficiency comes from God (2 Corinthians 3:5)
  • Nobody loves me becomes, God loves me with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3)
  • I am an imposter becomes, God made me just the way I am supposed to be (Psalm 139:13-14)

If you are battling negative voices, self-doubt and fear today, turn to God and praise Him for who He has created you to be.
